Empire Medical Wellness is a private, physician-led practice offering obesity medicine, addiction medicine, and mental health evaluation and medication management for children 8 and up, adolescents, and adults. Secure telemedicine is available when you are physically located in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or Virginia. In-person appointments are available in Manhattan and Manasquan, New Jersey.

Empire Medical Wellness was created to provide patients with enough time to explain what is happening, understand their treatment options, and leave with a clear plan.
Explore our three clinical services: obesity medicine and GLP-1 medication care, addiction medicine, and child, adolescent, and adult mental health medication management. You may seek one service independently or receive coordinated care when more than one area is relevant.

Dr. Chhatpar is a physician board-certified in family medicine, obesity medicine, and osteopathic manipulative therapy. Dr. Chhatpar completed advanced fellowship training in addiction medicine at Hartford HealthCare, recognized as one of the most prestigious academic medical healthcare institutions for addiction medicine training and Connecticut’s most comprehensive healthcare network.
Dr. Chhatpar is also completing additional training in integrative general psychiatry and integrative child and adolescent psychiatry.

Obesity Medicine
Board certification in obesity medicine supports evidence-based medical weight management, medication treatment, risk assessment, and long-term maintenance planning.
Addiction Medicine
Advanced fellowship training in addiction medicine supports medical assessment, medication treatment, recovery planning, and coordination across levels of care.
Mental Health
Mental health evaluation, medication review, and ongoing treatment management for children 8 and up, adolescents, and adults, with an individualized medical assessment.
